The Line represents international artists Brewster Brockmann, Michael Constantini, Wosene Worke Kosrof, Susan Seaberry, Marco Tamburro and Nicola Wheston. All are extremely talented and powerful painters, each drawing from their vast experiences.

Susan Seaberry received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Art Center College of Design in California and began her busy career as an illustrator and designer. Her experience in art continues to produce imaginative and prolific work that is exhibited widely in galleries and celebrated in print.

Brockmann

Brewster Brockmann was born in the United States, landing squarely in the arms of a multicultural artistic family. His father is a noted Mexican architect and his mother is an American painter. Both met as students at the Rhode Island School of Design. Art runs through the veins of his family with his brother, sister and cousins all practicing artists and photographers.

Costantini

Michael Costantini is an American artist, born in San Francisco. He employs an ever-widening variety of media to explore those subjects of landscape, architecture and the world around him that inspire his artwork. Painting and sculpture carry equal weight in those explorations as materials and processes continuously provide further development of his visual language.

Wosene Worke
Kosrof

For well over forty years, Ethiopian-born artist Wosene Worke Kosrof has explored the aesthetic potential of language while using the written symbols of his native Amharic as the major compositional elements in his work. In his paintings, the calligraphic forms of Amharic are broken apart , abstracted and reconfigured, creating a new visual language that draws upon the artist’s Ethiopian heritage, while incorporating his experiences living in the United States and traveling extensively internationally.

Tamburro

Marco Tamburro was born in Perugia 1974. In 1994 he graduated in architecture and furniture at Art Institute of Perugia. Tamburro decided to move permanently to Rome, a city that has always attracted to its enviable artistic beauty and its intense underground life. In Rome he finds his passion for the theater, to work with various theater companies, he devoted himself to full time painting, and in 1999 he graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.

Wheston

Nicola Wheston is a figurative and landscape artist living on Salt Spring Island, B.C. She hails from a traditional background and training in painting, ie: painting the figure from life and capturing the landscape plein air. Painting what she observes has challenged her for all of her adult life.” It is a never-ending process of perception, intentions, trials and solutions,” says the artist.
